By downloading, installing, or using SIMGUARD ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
SIMGUARD is a consumer security application that monitors your Android device for SIM swap attempts, account takeover signals, wallet address poisoning, fake crypto apps, and related threats. The app provides alerts, an event log, War Room tools (carrier/bank/exchange recovery scripts), and optional risk verification features. We do not guarantee detection of all threats; security depends on many factors including your device, permissions, and threat sophistication.
The app requires certain Android permissions (phone state, notification access, and optionally SMS and location) to function. You are responsible for granting or revoking these permissions and for any consequences of denying core permissions. You are also responsible for the accuracy of information you provide (e.g., wallet addresses, trusted contacts, API keys) and for securing your device and accounts.
SIMGUARD provides informational alerts and tools. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional security advice. For critical decisions (e.g., freezing accounts, reporting fraud), consult your carrier, bank, exchange, or legal counsel as appropriate.
The app may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Brave Search, OpenAI, HIBP) when you add API keys. Use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIMGUARD and its providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to losses from SIM swap, account takeover, or financial fraud. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIMGUARD and its providers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or modify the app or these Terms with notice where reasonably practicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SIMGUARD operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
